Solano's women's basketball team secured a resounding victory against Contra Costa with a final score of 71-45. 

Jhaidyn Reed showcased her scoring ability, contributing 6 points and  on both ends of the court with 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Kimani Wilburn's impressive 8 points, combined with solid contributions on the boards, highlighted her impact in the paint. Ella Gervasoni's accuracy from beyond the arc added a valuable dimension to the team's offensive strategy, contributing to the overall success.

Solano's well-rounded performance was reflected in their shooting percentages, with an exceptional 87.5% from the free-throw line. The team's defensive efforts, including 14 steals and 7 blocks, limited Contra Costa's scoring opportunities.

The victory advances the Falcons to 19-7 overall and 11-1 in BVC Conference play.
