Fairfield, Calif. - Solano head women's basketball coach Matt Borchert was named the Bay Valley Conference Coach of the Year, and four Falcons were named to the All-Conference team, announced Sunday.

Joining Borchert with All-Conference honors are sophomores Sierra Chapman, Sunmi Da Silva, Kameron Hatcher, and Lexi Hines. Hines and Chapman were the team's leading scorers, averaging 11.9 and 11.7 points per game, respectively. Da Silva and Hatcher were close behind with 9.0 points per game. 

Hines also averaged 6.5 rebounds per game with Chapman and Hatcher adding 6.0 and 5.0 per game. And Da Silva averaged 4.6 assists per game.

Borchert led the Falcons to a nearly undefeated conference campaign, finishing 9-1, 17-8 overall. 

The Falcons await their postseason fate to be announced on Monday, Feb. 25.
