Vacaville, Calif. - The Solano women's soccer team hosted its end-of-season banquet at Stars Recreation Center on Friday evening.
Solano College Board of Trustees Dr. Sarah Chapman, A. Marie Young, and Michael Martin were in attendance along with Executive Coordinator Sandra Thierrien.
Athletically, Solano finished Bay Valley Conference (BVC) play with a 9-2-1 record, 9-7-3 overall.
Academically, the Falcons finished Fall 2018 with a 3.12 team GPA with 11 of the 19 student-athletes posting a term GPA of 3.0 or higher and named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. Two of the 11 earned perfect marks.
Additionally, seven student-athletes were named California Community College Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSCA) Scholar-Athletes for completing 24 units with a minimum 3.3 GPA. Included in the group were Karla Cardinal, Makenna Copeland, Maya Delgado, Isabella Kelly-Fondersmith, Shelby Nichols, Kristen Richards, and Arielle Valera.
