Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Jordyn Bennett completed a hat trick in the Solano women's soccer 8-1 win over Contra Costa on Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman Keana Flynn added a pair of goals and an assist, and freshmen Megan Borges and Vanessa Bedoy and sophomore Karla Cardinal each added a goal.
Bennett scored in the eighth minute off an assist by sophomore Melinda Rashidian before adding her second score in the 13th minute off Flynn's assist. She counted the only goal in the second half in the 47th minute off a feed from freshman Amber Ayala.
In the goal, sophomore Kirstyn Gotschall and freshman Ashley Zahner split halves with Zahner earning a pair of saves.
The Falcons (4-5-2, 3-1) head to Yuba next on Friday, Oct. 11 for a 4 p.m. match.
