Solano Battles to 1-1 Draw with Feather River
Fairfield, CA – September 12, 2025

The Solano women’s soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Feather River College on Friday afternoon at home. Solano struck quickly in the first half, but could not hold back Feather River, as they scored in the final minutes of the game. 

Solano wasted little time scoring, as Kalina Osorio buried the Solano goal off an assist from Zoe Zanassi.

From that point forward, both defenses and goalkeepers stood tall. Solano keeper Hannah Brackfield anchored the back line with five saves, denying multiple opportunities from Feather River.  Despite earning chances in the midfield from Aaliyha Padilla and Carina Dyer, the Falcons were unable to generate enough offense to find a game-winner.

Solano held firm defensively, highlighted by the steady play of Charlotte Seres, Ciara Manning, and Mariah Bender along the back line.

The Falcons will host College of the Siskyous Tuesday at 4pm.
