Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore catcher Jared Denning went 2-for-3 with a RBI, but the Solano baseball team dropped a 11-6 decision to Sierra (3-3) on Thursday afternoon.

Sophomores Roberto Diaz and Jorge Chenart backed up his multi-hit outings with two-hit and one-run games each. Diaz added a RBI and walk to his efforts. 

On the bump, freshman left-handed starter Alex Clouthier went three innings as the pitcher of record.

The Falcons (1-4) wrap up the two-game series against the Wolverines on the road on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m.
