Fairfield, Calif. - Midfielder Karla Cardinal will join Northwest Christian College's women's soccer team on scholarship, announced Friday.

Cardinal, a two-year team captain for the Falcons and back-to-back All-Bay Valley Conference First Team honoree, earned three goals and 15 assists in 2019, good for third in the state for assists and topping the conference. In 2018, she was named the Bay Valley Conference Midfielder of the Year with five goals and 23 assists, good for third in the state for assists and again leading the conference.

Academically, a Biology major, she was named to the 2018 California Community College Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSCA) Academic All-State Team.

Northwest Christian College is located in Eugene, Ore.
