Kevin Marks joined Solano College in 2007 as a full-time, tenured Psychology/Health Science instructor. He joins the Solano women's soccer program as high-performance mental skills coach. Overall he has 16 years of teaching experience at the collegiate level, leading courses in peak performance and sport psychology.

Prior to joining the women's soccer program, Marks was a collegiate football coach at Solano, serving as Associate Head Coach and leadind the Falcons to back-to-back conference championships and a third-best finish in school history in 2010. Additionally, he coached football at Laney College and Modesto College.

Marks holds two Master's degrees in Sport/Exercise Science (Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology, Sport Psychology) and Psychology. He has received formal high-performance mental skills training from Dr. Michael Gervais, the psychologist for the Seattle Seahawks. And he also received training from U.S. National Volleyball Team members Nicole Davis and Courtney Thompson.

Outside of teaching and coaching, Marks is an endurance triathlete that is training for a full Ironman.
