Sissi Do Amor joined the Solano women's soccer program as assistant coach in 2014, bringing the Falcons over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience. 

Sissi is invited by FIFA to attend the 2019 Women's World Cup in France. She was recently featured in Chelsea Clinton's book "She Persisted Around the World: 13 Women Who Changed History," and she was invited to attend The Best Awards in London for three years (2016-18), which honor the the best futbol socceer players of the world.

Prior to joining Solano, she was the head women's soccer coach at Las Positas College for 10 years. Sissi also has coached in the Walnut Creek Soccer club for the past six years after four years in the Diablo Valley Soccer club (2008-11). She coached high school soccer at Carondelet High School in 2006 and Clayton Valley High School (Concord) from 2006-09.

Sissi began coaching after a successful playing career that began at the age of 14, when she left her home to play professionally in Salvador, Brazil. She played for the Brazilian National Team for the first time at the age of 16, playing in three World Cups and three Olympic Games. She is regarded as one of the best women's soccer players in the history of the game in the world after being the first female to be awarded the Golden Boot and being named the recipient of the Silver Ball Award in the 1999 World Cup.
