Greenwood Inks with Texas A&M University-Commerce

Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore middle blocker Destiny Greenwood signed an National Letter of Intent (NLI) to continue her volleyball career at Texas A&M University-Commerce, announced Friday.

"I could not be more proud of a student-athlete who has put in the time, effort, and energy to propel her to the next level of her career," Solano head volleyball coach Darla Williams said.

Greenwood led the Falcons to back-to-back Bay Valley Conference titles including an undefeated conference run in 2017. She is a two-time BVC First Team selection and was named the Most Valuable Player in 2018. Adding to her impressive resume, she earned All-Northern California Regional Team honors last season. Overall, she totaled 666 kills and 163 blocks.

She plans to major in Sociology while competing for the Lions.
