The falcons played an amazing match pushing the top team in the state to five sets. The coaching staff are very proud of the way our defense and offense put up a fight tonight.
Falcons leader at the net was Hannah Del Rio with 7 blocks, added 8 kills
Kelsey Wall led the offense with 14 kills
Vanya Paopao added 8 kills, 20 assist and 10 digs
Breanna Davis led the way in the back court with 22 digs, serving 15-15, and 10 assist
Malia Decelle chipped in 6 kills, 14 digs and served 22-22
Lexi Vasquez served 18-18 with 2 aces and added 12 digs of her own
Eryka Ferrer chipped in 9 digs and served 9-10
There are some defensive and offensive skills for us to hone in on to beat a top caliber team like Feather River but we stayed aggressive and confident the entire night.
Next Wednesday is our last non-conference matches before Conference begins on Friday Sept. 29th
Wednesday we play College of Siskiyous at 3:30pm and Santa Rosa College at 6:30pm.
