Greenwood Named Program's First-Ever CCCWVCA Player of the Week

Sacramento, Calif. - Sophomore middle blocker Destiny Greenwood has been tabbed the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA) NorCal Player of the Week for Week 4 (September 16-22), announced Monday. The honor marks the first ever for the Solano women's volleyball program.

Last week, Greenwood powered 51 kills with a .336 hitting percentage. She added 18 blocks, including six solos, and 16 digs. In the team's four-set win over Shasta on Friday, she recorded a rare type of double-double with 23 kills and 10 blocks.

On the season, Greenwood leads the state in kills (236), solo blocks (33), total blocks (57), and points (291.0).
