Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Kirstyn Gottschall added All-Northern California Region First Team honors to her impressive rookie season, announced Friday.

Gottschall, the Falcons' goalkeeper and the Bay Valley Conference Most Valuable Player, finished the regular season ranked seventh in the state at goalkeeper with 138 saves. She also was the Solano Athletics September Athlete of the Month. She started all 19 matches for Solano, earning a career-high 18 saves against Evergreen Valley on September 11, and averaged 7.26 saves per game.
