Solano College Women soccer victorious in final BVC home game

In Solano Community College's final regular home game, the women's soccer team delivered a strong performance against Mendocino, securing a 2-1 victory. The first half saw Solano trailing 1-0, but a determined comeback followed  in the second half. In the 48th minute, Julia Villareal netted a crucial goal, assisted by Denise Aguigui and Ella Gervasoni, leveling the score. With just 5 minutes left, Briana Shafer sealed the win with a successful penalty kick. . Goalkeeper Jayden Hill played the entire 90 minutes, contributing to the defensive strength that ultimately secured Solano's triumph. The exciting match not only marked the end of the regular home game season but also displayed the  the team's ability to rally and secure a well-deserved victory.
