The Solano Falcons secured an impressive road victory against Sac City, coming from behind to win 3-1. Sac City struck first with a goal in the 3rd minute, putting the Falcons down early. However, Solano responded in the 29th minute with Katelyn Walbolt scoring the equalizer, assisted by Kalina Osorio. The teams went into halftime tied 1-1, setting the stage for an exciting second half.
Solano came out strong after the break, with Julia Hagerman finding the back of the net in the 49th minute, assisted by Zoe Zanassi and Kalina Osorio. Katelyn Walbolt then sealed the victory with her second goal of the match in the 57th minute, again assisted by Zanassi and Osorio. Goalkeeper Juliana Jacobson was stellar in goal, making 10 saves over the 90 minutes to help secure the win. The Falcons will go for a second consecutive win as they visit Butte on Tuesday at 4pm
