The Solano Falcons recorded their second consecutive Bay Valley Conference win with a commanding 5-0 victory on the road against Mendocino. Solano dominated the first half, netting four goals before the break. Briana Shafer led the charge with two goals and an assist, while Julia Hagerman contributed three assists in a standout performance. Shafer opened the scoring in the 7th minute, assisted by Hagerman, followed by Katelyn Walbolt's goal in the 10th minute, also set up by Hagerman. Shafer scored again in the 29th minute, and Mia Ponce added the fourth goal in the 39th minute, assisted by Shafer and Kalina Osorio. A second-half own goal capped off the win. Goalkeeper Juliana Jacobson played the full 90 minutes, earning the shutout. The falcons will take their undefeated Conference on the road for a visit at Yuba College on Tuesday Oct 4 in Marysville.
