Solano quad we played both DeAnza and Shasta College.  

We beat DeAnza 25-16, 25-17. 25-10

Jada Cuffie led the offense with 10 kills on zero errors and 3 blocks

Vanya Paopao added 8 kills, 11 digs, 17 assist and 4 aces

AJ Projillo led the defense with 16 digs, serving 21-23 with 3 aces

Aliyah Aguiar chipped in 7 kills and led with 4 blocks

Match #2 we had some stiff competition with Shasta College.  WE pulled out the win in the fifth set. 

17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 15-13

Jada Cuffie with 10 kills again, and 4 blocks

Aliyah Aguiar added 10 kills as well

Trinity Tungasmita had a great night at the net with 9 kills

Lilli Mass chipped in 7 kills and 3 blocks

AJ Projillo led the defense with 21 digs, and 4 aces

Vanya Paopao had 14 digs, 26 assist and serving 17-17 with an ace

Breanna Davis added 15 digs, 14 assist, serving 16-16 with an ace

Giana Guintu served 19-19 with an ace and chipped in 8 digs

Jacky Capili served 13-13 with 2 aces 

It was nice to pull out two wins tonight.  Shasta has a great team, one hitter that was tough to stop.  Luckily our serving and defense was working hard and many of our offensive players stayed solid at the net.  Overall we were proud of their battle, but want to clean up the little mistakes.  

We will host another Quad Event on Friday with 2pm match against Santa Rosa College and 4pm match with Sacramento City College.
