Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore setter Mia Pimentel has been tabbed the Solano Athletics October Athlete of the Month, announced Tuesday.

Pimentel, a co-captain of the 2018 Solano women's volleyball team, broke the school record earlier this season with 49 assists in a single match, and currently boasts 689 assists on the season. She also is an offensive threat, amassing 128 kills - good for third on the team. She is second on the team in digs, and at the end of October, had tallied 22 service aces.

She boasts one of the top GPAs on the team, and after her tiem at Solano, she hopes to transfer to USC and study communications
