Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore women's diver Kari Yamada and sophomore Kyle Krebs (baseball) have been named the Solano Athletics April Co-Athletes of the Month, announced Wednesday.

Yamada qualified for the state meet earlier this month at the NorCal Meet in the one-meter diving competition after finishing sixth. Earlier this season, she finished first in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 168.5 at the De Anza Don Invitational. She was the 2018 Bay Valley Conference Diving Champion. 

In the month of April, Krebs split time at first base, right field, and pitcher. Offensively he went 15-for-31 with three doubles, a triple, and 12 RBI. He rode an 11-game hitting streak and led the team to a five-game winning streak. On the mound, he pitched five scoreless innings this month, fanning five, and recorded two saves.
