Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Courtney McGraw paced the Falcon softball team on both ends of the ball in Solano's 8-0, six inning win over Modesto on Thursday.

McGraw went 3-for-3 on the day with a triple and two RBI, scoring a run. The left fielder then transitioned to the circle, recording her second save of the season on a one-hit, two-inning outing.

Freshmen Alaena Selden and Baylee Robben backed McGraw up with multi-hit outings with three and two, respectively.

Sophomore Brianna Schlattman improved to 2-0 on the season on a four-inning appearance, scattering three hits and fanning a pair.

The Falcons improve to 3-0 on the season and face Sierra and Sequoias next on Saturday, Feb. 10.
