Fairfield, Calif. - Despite a perfect plate outing for sophomore Brianna Schlattman, the Solano softball team could not overcome a six-run second inning in the team's 10-1, five inning loss to San Mateo on Saturday in the first round of the CCCAA Regional Playoffs.

Schlattman counted a double and a run with freshman Santiaga Ortega also earning a double for the team. 

Freshman Adrianna Montuya (3-8) was charged with the loss after 1.1 innings of work.

The softball team finishes the 2018 season with a 19-17-1 record.
