
Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore Alaena Selden hit a home run in both games of the Solano softball team's doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, but the Falcons split the twinbill, falling 8-6 in the first game but rebounding with a 6-3 win in the second game.
On the day, Selden counted six RBI on 4-of-7 hitting. In the second game, sophomore Aleya Turner went 3-of-4 with a RBI.
In the circle, freshman Courtney McGraw was charged with the loss after throwing 1.1 innings. Freshman Britney Czelusniak (1-0) picked up the win in the second game, throwing six innings, while freshman Larissa Raymond earned the save.
The Falcons (2-2) remain home to host San Mateo next on Tusday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m.
