Sacramento, Calif. - Sophomore shortstop Aleya Turner has been tabbed the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (3CFCA) Player of the Week for Week 9, announced Thursday.

Turner continued her hot hitting in week 9 to lead the Falcons to a 2-2 record. At the dish, Turner was 8-for-16 with four runs and five RBI. She hit three doubles and stole two bases in her offensive efforts.

She and her Solano teammates close out the 2019 regular season with a home doubleheader against Contra Costa on Tuesday, Apr. 23 beginning at 12 p.m. before awaiting their postseason fate. The Falcons are currently 21-13 overall and undefeated in Bay Valley Conference play with a 14-0 record.
