San Mateo, Calif. - Freshman Alex Peppard scored two of the Falcons' runs, but the Solano men's baseball team wrapped the three-game series against San Mateo with a 10-5 loss on Saturday afternoon.

Peppard went 1-of-3 with two walks. Freshman Brandon Herter earned the team's only RBI on a bases-loaded walk in the top of the sixth inning to score Peppard.

Sophomore lefty starting pitcher Alex Clouthier (0-1) hurled three complete innings, allowing five runs and striking out a pair. 

Solano (0-3) remains on the road, heading to Skyline on Tuesday, Feb. 5 for a 2 p.m. first pitch.
