The Falcons defeat De Anza in a close 5-4 battle.

 

The Solano offense struggled as a whole on Thursday at De Anza in a narrow 5-4 victory. The Falcons collected four hits but were able to draw five walks in the effort and capitalized on their scoring opportunities. Kevin Parker, Joseph Guttmann, JJ Dain, and Rolando Ramos each collected a hit in the contest. Dain, Ramos, Cameron Taylor, Ryne Richard, and Jake Rogers each collected an RBI. 

 

On the mound, sophomore Mateo Santos was excellent yet again. He went seven strong innings allowing two runs on four hits, two walks, and struck out nine while earning his second victory of the year. Sophomore Kevin Parker came in from shortstop with two outs in the bottom of the eight in a 5-4 game to earn his third save of the year and second this week. Parker went an inning and a third, allowing one hit and striking out two.
